Aluminum Cat Litter Scoop, Deep Sifter with Long Handle

A litter scoop is a tool you use every day and think about never. This one is aluminium, so it does not flex under a full load and it does not absorb anything.

Why metal instead of plastic

Plastic scoops bend under the weight of a full clump, and once they crack they hold odour in the crack forever. Aluminium does not bend at this thickness, does not absorb smell, and rinses clean in seconds. The trade-off is that it is heavier, and the edge is hard enough to scratch a plastic litter box over time if you scrape the bottom aggressively.

What the shape does

• Deep sifter — holds a full clump without it rolling off mid-lift
• Slot spacing — lets clean litter fall through without dragging half the box out with it
• Long handle — keeps your hand further from the litter and reaches the back corners without leaning in

Using it

Scoop daily rather than letting the box build up — daily scoops take seconds and the litter lasts longer. Angle the scoop and lift slowly, letting the clean litter fall through before you move it to the bin.

Care

Rinse after each use and let it dry. Do not put it in a dishwasher if the handle has a coated grip — the heat degrades the coating.
